Inspiration Board Wednesday: Melon Pop

I love the brightness of the orange in this board.  Its sort of a cross between a peach and and orange yellow that just feels so light and fresh.  I think you could pair this color with so many options and it still feels pretty and modern.  I chose to pair it with a bright aqua but you could certainly tone it down with a plum color, midnight blue or even a dark teal and it would still look amazing.

We Need Your Help!

We've got some big changes coming up for Creative Montage but we wanted to have a little fun before all the hoopla starts at our end....

In the midst of rebranding our little biz, we realized that a new image was really dependent on which color scheme we chose.  We definitely couldn't select one on our own so we thought about putting it to a vote!  You, lovely readers, get to choose the next Creative Montage colors!

Once the colors are voted on, we will begin work at our end which means lots of great things coming up, maybe, possibly, including a giveaway...

So here are your choices...vote wisely ;)

What colors do YOU think should be part of the new Creative Montage brand?

Inspiration Board Wednesday: Glamorous Lavender

I LOVE LOVE LOVE subtle gold touches next to this pretty lavender color...And how romantic would it be to get married in a location that has lavender fields?!??

It was hard not to make this board feel rustic. My natural instinct was to use lots of wood and burlap but I kept the focus on the subtle gold touches. Pretty jewels in lavender tones would make such a pretty statement piece for a bride or a lovely gift for bridesmaids. I love the little sprigs of lavender in the champagne flutes and on the macarons and I adore the simplicity of the cake.

Inspiration Board Wednesday: Kentucky Derby

One of my lifelong goals is to make it to the Kentucky Derby.  Just once.  In honor of this weekends big race, I created this sweet board.  I really combined a subtle Gatsby vibe with this theme by incorporating the pretty vintage cloche hats and dainty boots and included some sweet southern detail, mint juleps infused with strawberries or peaches.  The show ribbons are by far my favorite thing about this board and I think they would make really unique seating cards for your guests  {there are so many tutorials out there for making your own}.  Lots of lush florals in peaches and pinks add a really luxe feel to this otherwise simple board.  And the icing on the cake would be to use vintage trophy cups to display your florals!

Inspiration Board Wednesday: Blossoms and Lace

Its been so long since I've done an inspiration board for you guys!  I lost my board mojo for a while but I'm easing my way back into it.

Love the idea of using pretty snippets of ivory lace with lush vintage styled blossoms.  I think the lack of any true color really gives this board a romantic ethereal feel, perfect for a romantic garden wedding!     I created this board in Etsy so if you are interested in any of the products, follow the link to the treasury!

Have a great Wednesday!
